Locals already know how great Union County Schools are, so it’s no surprise that the students and faculty are making waves and winning awards left and right! Very recently, Union County High School was not only honored by the Governor as one of the highest performing schools in the State of Georgia, but it was also named as an Advanced Placement (AP) Challenge School by the Georgia State Superintendent. We are so proud of the students, educators, and BOE in our community!
The community of Blairsville-Union County prides itself in investing in the quality of education that the children in our area receive, and we’re proud to see all of the improvements made in our schools in recent years, including the Fine Arts Center and Auditorium, Agriscience Center, new school busses, classroom additions and HVAC upgrades, technology upgrades, safety and security enhancements, and much more. We are also excited to see the progress made under the leadership of new Superintendent John Hill.
We love living in an area that values education and investing in the future of its students, and we’re very proud to see everything coming out of Union County Schools. Keep up the great work!
